You follow Rad through various levels (Super Mario Bros.), shoot the bad guys (Mega Man) and fight tons of bigger-than-life bosses (Contra). The gameplay will feel very familiar if you have ever played a 2D side-scroller from the 1980s or 90s. For the most part the story is fairly forgettable – but who cares, right? After the events of the previous Rearmed title, Nathan “Rad” Spencer (the Bionic Commando) is sent to some place to stop an evil dictator from doing something evil.
